Disposition & Purpose
A Tank Platoon (Heavy) or TPH consists of 4 Conquer II-class Assault Repulsor Tanks or Challenger 2 Main Battle Tank (typically the former). A typical TPH has a Lieutenant leading the formation (or a senior Tank Commander in place of the Lieutenant) and a TPH is the smallest organizational unit for tanks; within the platoon, tanks can be assigned to Tank Squads of two or even Special Assignment Units (SAU) of one tank, however the Squads and SAUs are not unique in the order of battle and both Squads and SAUs still report to their Tank Platoon Commanding Officer.
